Concha y Toro Casillero del Diablo:Cabernet Sauvignon

Casillero del Diablo Merlot is a distinguished wine from the Central Valley of Chile produced by Vina Concha y Toro S.A. The region’s alluvial, rocky, stony soils and granitic subsoil provide a unique terroir contributing to the wine’s complexity. The Mediterranean climate, influenced by the Andes, ensures optimal conditions for grape cultivation. This Merlot is known for its silky, smooth texture and low astringency, offering an elegant and balanced finish. The wine boasts cherry and licorice aromas, complemented by toffee and vanilla notes, which give way to flavors of chocolate and red berries. Aged in oak barrels, this medium bodied wine pairs excellently with soft cheeses, pasta, risottos, and lightly seasoned meats. Serve at 18 to 20ºC to fully appreciate its refined character. It has 13.5% alcohol by volume (ABV).
