Moonshine Black Berry

Jameson Black Barrel is a blended Irish whiskey from Ireland with 40% alcohol by volume (ABV) and 80 proof. This expression is a harmonious blend of pot still and grain whiskeys, triple distilled in line with traditional Irish methods. The brand's heritage is highlighted through a maturation process in a blend of sherry and bourbon oak casks, revealing a layered complexity of flavors. What makes it special is the use of twice-charred barrels, a hallmark of the production process for this bottle. This secondary charring deepens the spirit's richness and imparts notes of vanilla and toasted wood, adding a subtle sherry nuttiness. The result is a beautifully rounded whiskey with a creamy texture that balances traditional depth with a refined character. The profile reveals richness and complexity in every drop with flavors that dance between apple and nectarine and gentle spice. It is widely considered an ideal choice for an Old Fashioned cocktail, but it also shines when enjoyed on its own or served on the rocks. This whiskey is a versatile option for gifting or for those who appreciate a smooth and layered Irish spirit.
