The nose of this whiskey reveals a deep and pleasant spice, with strong notes of clove, barrel char, and anise. As the first rush settles, bold barbecue and black pepper flavors emerge, giving way to a sweeter side marked by hints of vanilla, maple, and brown butter. Subtle coconut undertones emerge in the background, culminating in a bold finish of cinnamon, nutmeg, and dried red fruit. The result is a distinctive and flavorful whiskey with a character reminiscent of vanilla cake frosting. Its striking presentation features a brass steer skull on the front label and a stopper embossed with six faux bullets arranged in the shape of a revolver cylinder. This whiskey earned a Bronze medal at the 2023 International Spirits Competition.
